Environmental Activism in lutruwita/Tasmania, 2020

This is my Year 11 Art Production piece, a collection of photographs that depict the numerous forms of environmental activism taking place in lutruwita/Tasmania. The photographs were taken on three separate occasions. 

- The Bob Brown Foundation's Sumac blocade in the takayna/Tarkine region.

- Extinction Rebellion's 2019/2020 Australian Bushfire vigil.

- A Festival Called Panama's  Annual Clothes Swap.

The collection aims to document and celebrate the importance of grassroots movements in caring for our environment.
